Food for Health-"G-Bombs"

Food can have a great impact on your overall health.  As the saying goes, "you are what you eat" is so true.  Eating certain foods will benefit weight management as well as help prevent diseases.  I try to eat foods that are considered the "G-Bombs"(Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries, and Seeds) everyday.  As I noted in the posting about mushrooms and how beneficial mushrooms are.

It is easy to include these important G-Bombs within your eating plan each day.  For breakfast I dice up onions, mushrooms, and roasted peppers to make an omelet.  I buy the roasted bell peppers in a glass jar and keep them in the frig. along with fresh mushrooms.  I also use these three along with diced Roma tomatoes and garlic as a sauce for over pasta.  It is also easy to add greens into your eating plan as you can eat lettuce, kale, spinach, or any organic greens to your "bomb" combination.  Try a new green salad by adding black beans, walnuts,  and berries.  You will be amazed how great a green salad can taste when you just add some new ingredients.    Onions, mushrooms, and peppers are also a great addition with your chicken dishes.  I use diced onion, tomato,  and diced roasted red peppers in my homemade guacamole along with fresh celantro.  Guacamole is a great addition to almost any meat or with omelets.   Be creative and try to include the "G-Bombs" with as many of your meals as possible to benefit your overall health and weight management goals.
