My weight loss plan

There is a lot of information on the web concerning diet plans and exercise.  I have never been a person that diets or tries new diets.  I am not really interested in a diet plan, I am more interested in eating healthy and including foods in my diet that will benefit me now and in the future. I am changing my eating habits to include more healthy foods that will allow me to burn fat and be healthier.  This is like a lifestyle change that will stay with me and not just help me maintain my weight for a period of time.  I began my plan by cutting out sugar.  Sugar is enemy #1 along with enemy #2-processed foods.

My Daily Plan:
  My plan besides eating foods that I have noted to help burn unwanted fat is to tone and exercise.  I am not into working out for hours or even an hour.  My time is precious and I simply do not like working out.  With that said I do believe that it is important to workout for a limited period of time and get the most out of that workout.  From all the information that I have read and it has also worked for me is the benefits of doing resistance training and walking on the treadmill.  I use resistance bands to strengthen and tone muscles along with two small hand weights that are three pounds each. The treadmill benefits cardio and strengthens muscles. I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes at least three times a week.  This keeps me from experiencing leg cramps and tones my body.  I also do a set of stretches with my resistance bands. 

I am currently trying more and more foods that are related to burning body fat.  Many of the nutritionist state these foods will burn the belly fat without even working out.  This maybe true however I feel it is important to workout and it does make me feel better and give me more energy.  You can view my "pages" section of the blog to discover more and more of these great foods that will help you loose belly fat.  I am trying them and will continue to update you on my progress. My plan has been working and I am beginning to have results with burning my unwanted belly fat. 

It is important to note that you can and should eat as many vegetables and fruits as you wish along with drinking water.  I also drink hot and cold Green Tea throughout the day.  Green Tea also comes with many added flavors such as blueberry and raspberry.  Water and green tea are the only things I drink along with two cups of coffee each day.  As supplements I take a women's multivitamin, along with liquid BTotal vitamin supplement and 2000 units of vitamin D.  I do not eat any meat.  I eat fish (baked) or other seafood like shrimp and sushi. I try to avoid sugar and eat plant based meals.  I do eat one egg usually on Saturday (no bread)  and sometimes oatmeal or cereal.  The oatmeal is whole grain old fashioned not instant or fast cooking.  I often add berries, raisins, cinnamon, honey for extra health benefits.  For breakfast during the weekdays I drink a smoothie made with almond milk, flaxseed meal, baby spinach, blueberries(frozen) and a half of banana.
