New Recipe!

I just wanted to let you all know that I have posted my zucchini bread recipe under the recipes page.  This is a very healthy bread that is moist and delicious. If you are not really a baker you should give this a try for it is really easy.  You will surprise yourself for it really is something you can't mess up.   It makes for a great snack or treat with your tea or coffee. I also pack the muffins or mini donuts in my daughters lunch.  I tend to make a lot of zucchini bread this time of year for it is readily available in the garden.  Zucchini is so easy to grow and produces a lot on a single plant.  You can also purchase organic zucchini at the grocery store and it really isn't that expensive.  The organic zucchini is usually wrapped individually or two to a package.  When you make the bread don't peel the zucchini for you want to get all the nutrition from the dark green skin.  This is another important reason why you should use organic.

I would also like to note that zucchini can be frozen and enjoyed year round.  This is great to know if you are growing it and have a lot that you don't want to waste.  You can shred it and place in freezer bags for later use.  It is especially great to have around the holidays.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
