Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog.  This was difficult at first for I could not decide on a name for my blog.  I wanted to include so many topics that I could not narrow down a title.  Thanks to my supportive husband and daughter we came up with the name.  "At Home with Judy" will allow me to include all the content I wish to blog about today and in the future.

To begin I will be adding information related to revised recipes with a healthy twist.  As I turned 50 this year I began to have all the issues related to middle age.  This includes keeping off the unwanted pounds that seem to jump on women of my age.  You know what I am talking about the belly fat that many women are dealing with.  I went on the internet and began to search for foods that I could eat that would help me maintain a healthy weight and diet.  Let me tell you there is a wealth of information out there and that is why I decided to begin a blog to share all the information I am discovering about foods and recipes I am trying and revising to fit into my healthy lifestyle.

There will be a new section updated weekly just for kids.  My nine year old daughter will be adding her touch to the blog with information that will interest kids.  Her postings will include having fun in the virtual world of Bearville.  Bearville is an online game sponsored by Build a Bear where you can bring your furry friends to life and play games and have fun.  Watch for her first posting soon!
